    VUSD is pleased to share the 2020-2021 Return to School Planning Guide with our families, students and staff. This planning guide is the collective work of the group of VUSD committees whose role is to inform and guide our planning on a wide variety of topics concerning the 2020-2021 school year, ranging from sanitation to instructional technology. The planning guide provides an overview of what the reopening of VUSD schools will look like, so everyone has the same understanding of the health and safety precautions that we are planning, our student schedules, our instruction, and the supports and resources that are available to our families.   • Community Alert - Transition in Grab n Go Meals Distribution (July 30, 2020)

    This summer, Visalia Unified School District continued to provide grab & go meals to the children of our community through the Seamless Summer Food Service Program.   • VUSD Announces New Format for Board Meeting Public Comment (July 22, 2020)

    Beginning with the July 28, 2020, Board meeting, public comments will not be accepted in person or by telephone. Members of the public may submit their comments using the online form. Comments submitted via the online public comment form will be read aloud by a staff member during the applicable agenda item, provided that the reading of each email will be limited to three (3) minutes on each agenda item. As a general rule, a three minute statement will contain approximately 300 words. The Board may also limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. (Board Bylaw 9323.)
