Today is a Regular Bell Schedule

Good morning Explorers, let’s remember to have La Joya PRIDE in everything we do!

    Campus PRIDE

At La Joya, we are very proud of our campus.  Please make sure that any trash goes into the trash cans, and walk only on the cement.  Our amazing groundskeeper works very hard, so let’s show respect and La Joya PRIDE by staying off the grass.

    Schedule Change Forms

As of Monday, August 15th, schedule change request forms will be available in the Front Office.  If you would like to request a different elective or some other change, please fill one out and return it with parent signature to the Pathfinder office no later than Friday, August 26th.  Changes are not guaranteed, so you should follow your original schedule unless called into the office and given a new schedule.

    Cell Phones/Headphones/AirPods

Cell phones, headphones, and/or AirPods are not allowed in the classrooms, or out on campus during the school day.  Leave those items at home, or in your backpack during the school day.

Back to School Night is Thursday, Aug. 18th beginning at 5:30pm.

Students, deliveries are NOT allowed.  This includes passing food and/or clothing items through the fence or gate.   Please make sure you have what you need when coming to school.

School pictures are Friday, Aug. 19th, so wear your best smile!  Dress code still applies.

Cafeteria workers are needed.  If you are interested, please see Mrs. McLeroy in the cafeteria before school or at break.

Students, when crossing any of the streets surrounding La Joya, please remember to be safe.  Look both ways before crossing and use the crosswalks whenever possible, making sure that people in cars, or on bikes see you before crossing.

Pizza will be sold today during both lunches for $2 a slice.  Bottled water will be sold for $1. Limit of two slices per person.

Have a Great Day, Explorers!  Remember to be present all day, every day, and to show your La Joya PRIDE with Preparedness, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Etiquette!
