  • Update Semester 2: In-Person vs. Full Distance

Hello Valley Oak, as Tulare County is still in the purple tier (most restrictive regarding COVID-19), secondary schools (grades 7-12) will not be able to have in-person instruction (with the exceptions of cohorts). While Tulare County is in the purple, all Valley Oak students will continue to Zoom directly with their current teachers. Once Tulare County is in the red tier for two weeks secondary schools can resume with in-person instruction using proper social distancing and mask wearing measures.

When that time approaches (this could be later into second semester) we will be reaching out to you with clarifying information regarding possible class changes to accommodate the social distancing requirements and information to those families who chose full-distance in the VUSD survey. If you have questions or concerns, please call our office at 730-7681 M-F 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. Thank You!
