Welcome to my website that will help you throughout your school year in my English class. First of all, since so much time will be spent together in class, I think to have a successful year, you will need to get to know Mr. Carr a little bit. I grew up in Visalia and actually attended El Diamante High School as part of the first graduating class from 2002-2006. I left Visalia and attended San Diego State University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Studies in 2009. Returning to the Valley, I attended Fresno State University and received my teaching credential in English in 2013. 

Currently I am teaching English I and II, and coaching varsity girls soccer here at El Diamante, and it is a blast teaching and giving back to my alma mater. Beginning the 2015-2016 school year, I am also teaching English within the Media Arts Linked Learning Academy.
