Sequoia Chapter has announced their annual Triple-X Fraternity of California
The Sequoia Chapter of the Triple X Fraternity (located in Visalia), is offering up to four $2000.00 scholarship awards to deserving graduating seniors for the 2020-2021 school year. Students must meet the following criteria: be of Armenian descent, US citizen or permanent resident, graduating senior of a Tulare County high school, enrolled in college for Fall of 2021, and provide two letters of recommendation. This scholarship is open to childhood cancer and blood disorder survivors, who are pursuing post-secondary education at a college or university within the United States.

- A 500-word essay on the topic of their choice.
- An acceptance letter from the college or university they will be (or are currently) attending this year.
- A letter from their doctor documenting a history of a blood disorder or cancer diagnosed before the age of 18.

This scholarship is awarded to high school seniors intending to matriculate to a 2 or 4- year college in the next academic year. The winners shall show dedication to their studies, an active faith life within the Catholic Church and his or her local parish, and interest in the intersection of faith and education. The council is especially interested in applicants demonstrating dedication to learning, evangelization, service, leadership, prayer and other areas of church life.
A one-time payment of $1000 for up to two winners each. The winner will receive the scholarship at the council’s scholarship night, (date to be determined).
Eligibility:High school senior at the time of application who is applying for admission to 2 or 4- year college for the following academic year.

Darden Architects, Inc. Scholarship

The scholarship is only offered to a high school senior planning on attending California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and majoring in Architecture.
The Darden Architects Student Scholarship Program aims to recognize, support and encourage students interested in the Architectural Profession from the California San Joaquin Valley. Annually, Darden Architects, accepts and reviews student applications with the intent of giving a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to a qualified candidate(s).To be elibible for this scholarship you must be a graduating high school senior, attending a San Joaquin Valley high school (Madera, Fresno, Kern, Kings, or Tulare Counties), have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and provide official transcripts. Tulare County Office of Education - Pursuing Victory With Honor (PVWH) Senior Scholarship

The PVWH Senior Scholarship Committee is proud to offer a $500 scholarship to as many as four senior student athletes. Applicants must meet the following criteria: 2021 graduate of any Tulare County High School, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, exhibit exceptional sportsmanship, school and community service and leadership skills and plan to attend an accredited college/university as a full-time student (12 units or more) during the 2021-2022 academic year.

FIDM awards over $300,000 in scholarships through a national scholarship competition. This scholarship is for students interested in the global industries of Fashion, Visual Arts, Graphics, Interior Design, and Entertainment. Seven first-place winners who demonstrate an exceptional talent and interest in Fashion Design, Visual Communications, Interior Design, Digital Media, Fashion Merchandising, Graphic Design, or Product Development will each be awarded a full, one-year scholarship to attend FIDM, which includes tuition, fees, books, and most supplies. Army National Guard - Minuteman Scholarship

The Minuteman Scholarship is a Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC) guaranteed reserve forces duty scholarship that was introduced in 2015 to enhance Army National Guard's ability to recruite highly qualified cadets every year. All qualified applicants for ROTC may apply for consideration for a Minuteman Scholarship. The Minuteman Scholarship covers full tuition and fees or $10,000 per year toward room and board at any college or university served by an Army ROTC program. Scholarship recipients also receive a yearly book allowance of $1,200 and a monthly stipend of $420 while attending school enrolled in the ROTC program.
Requirements:
• Currently in the National Guard or eligible for enlistment
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Ability to pass Army Physical Fitness Test
• 2.5 GPA
• Enrollment in ROTC

Naval Reserve/Marine Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Scholarship

The Naval Reserve/Marine Officers Training Corps (NROTC) has announced it’s 2019-20 scholarship. Selected applicants will receive full tuition and other benefits worth up to $180,000. NROTC units are located at over 160 of the nation’s leading colleges and universities. In order to be eligible you must be a U.S. citizen, be at least 17 years old, but no older than 23, be physically qualified by USMC standards, complete high school, take the ACT or SAT test prior to the deadline and receive listed minimum scores.
