    • Tulare County Dairy Women (TCDW)

    There are two scholarships available from TCDW.     Must be a high school student in Tulare County, must complete and return application (PDF form by email or paper version by mail), submit two letters of recommendations (from different individuals), submit a copy of current school transcript with application prior to March 1st, and student must attend an in-person interview with the selection committee.     • Tulare County ACSA Charter Student Scholarship

    The Tulare County Charter of the Association of California School Administrators provides an opportunity for graduating seniors, who have a parent or guardian with a current Tulare County Charter of A.C.S.A. membership to apply for Charter scholarships.  Eligibility requirements are as follows: must be a graduating senior this school year, parent or legal guardian must have a current membership with Tulare County Charter of A.C.S.A, 2.5 GPA or higher for seven semesters prior to the deadline, transcript (must be sealed in an envelope), 3 letters of recommendation in a sealed envelope from a school counselor, a high school teacher, and an advisor of a school, community or church group.


     The Dream.US

    The Dream.US is a national scholarship fund for DREAMers. They provide scholarships to highly motivated DREAMers who have DACA (Deferred Action for childhood arrivals) or TPS (temporary protected status) and who without financial aid, cannot afford to pay for college. The Dream.US is partnered with specific colleges, so you must be interested in attending one of those colleges and meet the following criteria to apply. Be a first time college student, intend to enroll in one of the Dream.US partner colleges by Spring 2019, have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5, have come to the US before reaching your 16th birthday, be DACA or TPS eligible and have received DACA or TPS approval, and demonstrate significant financial need.   If you meet the above criteria and would like to review the list of approved schools, and apply, please visit http://www.thedream.us/scholars/

    All applications and supporting documents must be typed and include an essay, one letter of recommendation, a one-page resume, sealed transcript, and documents signed by the applicant and parent.  Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, if planning on attending a CSU or UC or a 2.5 if attending a trade school or community college.     Sons of Italy in American, Enrico Caruso Lodge #1463 is proud to announce that they have opened their scholarship application. Several scholarships are available for seniors. To qualify, a student must be of Italian descent within three generations (parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent) and/or a son or daughter of a regular member of the Sons of Italy, Enrico Caruso lodge in Visalia.     • Sons of Italy -  Danny Romanazzi Memorial Scholarship

    The Order Sons of Italy in America has announced that the application for the Danny Romanazzi memorial scholarship is now available. This scholarship is for a high school senior that has had cancer or is dealing with cancer. There are no restrictions, grades, nationality, unless there is more than one applicant; then students will be judged by the same criteria as other Sons of Italy Scholarships.     This scholarship is intended to assist seniors that have been participants in the replacement heifer sale at the Tulare County Fair in attaining their educational goals.     • California Association of  WineGrape Growers Foundation (CAWGF)

    CWGGF is offering at least six scholarships to graduating seniors whose parent(s)/ legal guardian is/ was a vineyard employee working in the 2017/2018 wine grape growing season or children of wine grape growers my request a waiver from this eligibility based upon financial need.     Department of Transportation District 6 has six Scholarships available: Four are available to students who live in this region, have a 2.5 GPA or better, plan to attend a university, junior college, or trade school and have a major related to the transportation field.  The other scholarship opportunity is for students related to a current, former, or retired CalTrans district 6 employees who also meet the above criteria.     • The Hispanic Scholarship Fund

    Business and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) majors are highly encouraged to apply.  Must be of Hispanic heritage, be a U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, DACA or eligible non-citizen (as defined by FAFSA), minimum of 3.0 GPA, plan to enroll full-time in an accredited 4 year university in the fall of the desired scholarship year, complete FAFSA or state based financial aid application (if applicable).     Ray Jones Scholarship Fund, is a non-profit fund, which provides financial assistance to California Indian students graduating from central valley high schools and pursuing post-secondary degrees. Eligible applicants must be of California Indian descent, a graduating senior in good standing with a 2.0 or higher, demonstrate financial need, seek enrollment in a post-secondary degree program at an accredited two or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school, and be graduating from high school in the following counties: Merced, Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, Kings, or Tulare.   Completed packets must be mailed before deadline of March 31, 2018.     • CASCWA - Calif. Assoc. Of Supervisors, “Anthony Brucia Success Award”

    (CASCWA) has announced the “Anthony Brucia Success Award.”  CASCWA will award five scholarships in the amount of $1000 to an individual who has made turn-around in their lives. CASCWA is looking for a student who may have had to overcome lack of success early on due to a variety of reasons, including but limited to personal or family problems. Applicants must complete an application, provide two letters of recommendation, and write a personal statement, transcript, attendance record, and activities record and employment history.     The PVWH Senior Scholarship Committee is proud to offer a $500 scholarship to as many as four senior student athletes. Applicants must meet the following criteria: 2017 graduate of any Tulare County High School, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, exhibit exceptional sportsmanship, school and community service and leadership skills and plan to attend an accredited college/university as a full-time student (12 units or more) during the 2017-2018 academic year.  Applicants must complete an activities worksheet; include official transcript, two letters of recommendation and a 500 word essay.
