COVID Testing

  • VUSD Indoor Sports Athletes COVID-19 Testing

Beginning the week of November 8th all middle school athletes playing an indoor sport are required to complete COVID-19 testing once a week.

Divisadero teams will test at MWHS.

If a student is unable to make his/her scheduled time, he/she can attend any other testing cottage. Testing cottages are set up at each of the 4 high schools (GWHS, RHS, MWHS, EDHS) and will be open from 9:30am-7pm, Monday-Friday.

By mid-day each Friday, Athletic Directors will be notified of any students who are non-compliant. Student athletes will be prohibited from participating in any further practices/games/matches until tested and cleared.

Wrestling: While students are actively participating on the mat, a face mask is not allowed per CIF guidelines due to choking concerns.

Basketball: While students are actively playing or practicing on the court, a face mask is recommended but not required.
