Director of Business Information Systems
Responsible for section budget and management. Al holds a BS in Computer Science and has over thirty years working in systems development and support including fifteen years at VUSD. Al is the author of the California Department of Education sponsored "Technology Infrastructure Development Guide" developed under the state's TechSETS project. Al started his career in the US Navy as an electronics technician working on weapons systems and later earned his degree while working full time. He worked for various computer systems consulting companies doing systems integration, software development, and technical project management prior to coming to VUSD. Al lives in the Sierra mountains and enjoys the recreational opportunities available there.

Responsable for Tyler Munis support, SRTS, PAS, Bluebear, Server administration, Network/Data security, and training material development. Eric holds a BS degree in Computer Information Systems, single subject teaching credential, and has over 20 years working in technology. Eric started off as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the US Navy working on FA-18 aircraft and deployed aboard the USS Constellation aircraft carrier. After the Navy, Eric worked as a computer technician, and was promoted to network administrator for Exeter Public School District, and then went on to work as a Tulare County Server Administrator. After the county, Eric was the Director of Technology for Sequoia Union School District. In 2017, Eric was hired to be an 8th grade math teacher and athletic director for two years, but his true passion was the technology field and being part of a team to support systems in an education environment as a member of the VUSD BIS department. Eric is on the board of local non-profits, and spends some free time training as a competitive cyclist.
