When a Chromebook is first turned on, a screen will come up with a “Next” button. DO NOT click “Next”. Instead, at the very first screen that comes up when the Chromebook is turned on, they MUST click the BLUE LINK that says “Sign in with a different account”. If they hit “Next” first, the camera will come on and eventually come up with a screen that has an option to “Log in with Google”. If they get to that point, they’ve gone too far and they will need to turn the machine off and start over. Once they click the BLUE LINK, a regular username/password page will come up and they will log in normally.
