Tim Howard is in his seventh year as a music educator, and is currently the director of choral music at Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia CA. The MWHS choral program consists of six choirs and features the 80 voice award winning Pioneer Choir. He is a Graduate of California State University Fresno, receiving his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Choral/ Vocal Music. He has studied voice with Paul Murray and Dr. Anthony Radford, Euphonium with Steve Trapani, and conducting with Dr. Anna Hamre and Dr. Gary P. Gilroy.
In 2009 Mr. Howard received Fresno State’s award for most outstanding new teaching candidate. In 2012 Mr. Howard was honored with the Crystal Apple Award, given annually by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 2015 Tim was the guest clinician for the Tulare King’s County Middle School Real Men Sing. He is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA); California Music Educators Association (CMEA), and the Tulare/Kings Music Educators Association (TKMEA) where he has served as the chairperson of the TKMEA Middle/ High School Honor Choirs.
Mr. Howard resides in Visalia, CA with his wife Susan, and three children Samuel (4), Ian (3), and Sean (1).
