The mission of the Facilities Department is to provide safe, healthy, and high-quality learning environments for students, staff, and the community. Through strategic project planning, effective resource management, and open communication, we ensure that all facility efforts align with the educational goals of Visalia Unified School District. We also serve as the liaison between state, city, and our school site personnel to  ensure our facilities meet both regulatory standards and the evolving needs of our school communities.

District-funded construction projects are prioritized based on safety needs, aging infrastructure, and educational support services.
