L.J. Williams Theater

Completed in November 2023, the modernization of L.J. Williams Theater spans approximately 27,155 square feet and is located on the Redwood High School campus at 1001 W. Main Street, Visalia, CA 93291. 

The renovated space includes a state-of-the-art sound system and a fully upgraded lighting system with dynamic, modern fixtures capable of transforming the stage to match any scene or performance. Additional upgrades include fresh interior paint, new countertops and vanities, updated plumbing, improved seating, backstage enhancements, improved snack bar area, new carpeting, and polished concrete finishes.

Visalia Unified is committed to supporting student creativity, providing a professional-quality venue for school productions, concerts, and community events, all while honoring the legacy of one of Visalia’s most historic spaces. This district-funded project was completed at an approximate cost of  $1 million.
