Visalia Charter Independent Study

Completed in January 2025, the new VCIS campus spans approximately 43,261 square feet across three buildings and is located at 424 N Lovers Ln, Visalia, CA 93292.

The campus includes 64 classrooms, teacher offices, a testing lab, correction lab, student services center, performing arts center, and an assembly hall.  All designed to support a wide range of academic and career-focused programs. The facility accommodates instruction in math, science, art, culinary, and performing arts, along with specialized health science pathways such as Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician training. 

This project consolidated the school’s former east and west campuses into one modern facility, streamlining operations and expanding capacity to meet growing student needs. Construction took just over three years to complete, with approximately $14 million in funding. Originally established in 2003,  VCIS expanded to east Visalia in 2010, and later added a west campus in 2019 to keep pace with its continued growth and success.
