Developer Fees

Pursuant to Government Code Section 66006, districts must maintain separate capital facility accounts for reportable fees and must make them available to the public within 180 days after the last day of each fiscal year a Reportable Fees Report. Pursuant to Government Code Section 66001, districts must make findings every five years with respect to unexpended funds. The accompanying report meets the requirements of Government Code Sections 66006 and 66001.
The finalized and most recent Developer Fees Report was made available to the public on December 19, 2025.
The finalized and most recent Justification Study and School Facility Needs Analysis (SFNA) was made available to the public on July 23, 2024, and is dated April 2024.
Developer Fee - Level I
The District’s Level II Developer Fee expired on July 23, 2025. As a result, the District will now assess fees in accordance with VUSD Board Resolution 21-22-44, adopted on May 10, 2022, which establishes the following rates:

Residential School Fees: $4.79 per sq. ft.

Commercial/Industrial and Agriculture: $0.78 per sq. ft.

Self-Storage: $0.33 per sq. ft.
