The Role of the ASL's

At Visalia Unified School District, our ASL's work closely with school principals and leadership teams to ensure that every school is equipped to foster collaboration, build strong educator teams, and improve outcomes for all students. They serve as coaches and connectors to help ensure consistency and alignment across campuses while honoring each school’s unique context and needs. Our ASL's play a critical role in bringing the Learning Community Model to life across our district.

Their leadership helps sustain a culture where school leaders feel supported, empowered, and accountable — not just for results, but for the growth and well-being of their staff and students.
