Do you have an A.A. and want to become a credentialed teacher?
Classified Scholarship Goal
This is an opportunity to support career advancement for classified school employees in Visalia Unified School District to become certificated teachers.
This scholarship provides $4,250 of financial assistance for qualified candidates to pursue their bachelors degree and teaching credential.
Follow the Steps Below to Get Started
STEP 1
Review the Frequently Asked Questions.
STEP 2
Fill out the Classified Scholarship Application.
Application window- November 1, 2025-February 1st 2026.
Human Resources will review applications and notify candidates if they are accepted.
STEP 3
Candidates who are accepted to the program will then apply to Fresno Pacific University.
Meet with FPU Admissions Counselor: Lesly Beas-lesly.beas@fresno.edu
STEP 4
Once qualified candidates are successfully admitted to FPU, they will be contacted to attend the Classified Scholarship Orientation.
