Smart Phone & Mobile Communication Devices
Mobile communication devices are not to be used during instructional time. Devices must be off.
Violations will result in the escalating consequences:
- 1st Offense: Verbal Warning
- 2nd Offense: Verbal Warning, Teacher Call home
- 3rd Offense: Office Referral Device Confiscated, Parent Contacted

Behavior Correction Procedure
Teacher Monitors Student Actions:
Observation: Does behavior meet expectations? If yes, acknowledge positive behavior/continue instruction.
If no, proceed with step 1.
- Step 1. Review Expectations/Verbal Warning: Does behavior improve? If yes, acknowledge positive behavior/continue instruction. If no, proceed with step 2.
- Step 2. One-on-One Conference With Student: Does behavior improve? If yes, acknowledge positive behavior/continue instruction. If no, proceed with step 3.
- Step 3. Complete Reflection Form & Phone Call Home (Classroom Managed): Does behavior improve? If yes, acknowledge positive behavior/continue instruction. If no, proceed with step 4.
- Step 4. Student Office Referral/Administration Intervention(Office Managed Incident)
