PULSE Expanded Learning Program

  • We are excited to announce that the PULSE Expanded Learning Program is now registering students for the upcoming school year. The PULSE is a middle school program open to all 7th and 8th-grade VUSD students. We offer academic support as well as engaging and exciting enrichment club opportunities. Program for the 2020/21 school year will be held at Divisadero, Green Acres, and Valley Oak Middle Schools. We are now offering the convenience of online registration through FamilyID (www.familyid.com). FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to sign-up. Space is limited and programs will fill up fast! Please submit your application by June 19th using the links below. Paper applications will be available during Grab and Go meal distributions at the elementary schools that feed into the three program sites. Please return Paper Applications back to the Grab and Go Meal school sites.

    (PLEASE NOTE: The PULSE Expanded Learning Program structure and services for the 2020-21 school year will be contingent upon VUSD's regular school-day structure and services.  We will provide further updates on this as we near the start of the school year!)

    Follow these steps to complete the application:

    1. To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization above, and select the registration form under the word Programs.

    2. Next click on the blue Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In blue buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.

    3. Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner's First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address, and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account. 
    1. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).

    2. Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you into FamilyID.com

    3. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.

    4. Click the Continue button when your form is complete.

    5. Review your registration summary.

    Thank you for your registration! Letters of acceptance will be sent out by mid-July to notify you of your status.
