The Middle School program at GLC is currently in its 4th year. In 2020, we promoted our first 8th-grade class. From GLC, our students have gone on to attend charter high schools, Linked Learning academies, as well as comprehensive high schools.

GLC offers middle school students a safe and connected community, where teachers know all the students' names and provide personalized support and instruction. Our middle school teaching team departmentalizes for core content instruction, while each maintaining a homeroom and ELA class. This provides middle school students the opportunity to rotate among teachers and receive specialized instruction, while still maintaining a cohesive small-school setting.
