• Students wishing to participate in the Vista program must already be registered at the school within their boundaries. 

    2/16, 3/15, 3/29, 4/19: Parent Interest Zoom Session (only attend one date)

    March 15, 2023: Kindergarten Registration Opens

    April 26, 2023: All interest forms must be turned in by 5:00 pm 

    June 6, 2023: Students accepted into the program and those on the waitlist will be notified.

    What is a Dual Immersion Program?
    A Dual Immersion Program is a way to learn academic content while acquiring another language at the same time. Students receive math, science, or social studies instruction in their native  language of Spanish or English. Because of the teaching strategies used, the students learn the concepts and skills for the subject area and develop the ability to read, write, speak, and listen in another language. They will be completely bi-literate in both English and Spanish at the end of the program, which concludes at the end of their 6th grade year.

    Que es un programa de inmersion dual?
    Un programa de inmersion dual es una f orma de aprender contenido academico mientras se adquiere otro idioma al mismo tiempo. Los estudiantes reciben instruccion en matematicas, ciencias o estudios sociales en su idioma nativo de espanol o ingles. Debi do a las estrategias de ensenanza utilizadas, los estudiantes aprenden los conceptos y habilidades para el area tematica y desarrollan la capacidad de leer, escribir, hablar y escuchar en otro idioma. Seran completamente bilingues tanto en ingles como en espanol al final del programa, que concluye al final de su sexto grado.
