 XL supports high school students to become 21st Century Leaders through academic resources and pathway programs designed to meet the needs and interests of students. Providing quality after school programming to El Diamante High School is our number one priority. Our students thrive in a safe and welcoming learning environment where they are encouraged to think outside of the box and welcome new challenges. Our programs are designed to help prepare students for high-demand career paths. We strive to make sure every student who comes through the XL Program excels in high school, has all of the necessary tools that they need to succeed in life, and how to make a positive impact in their communities.

WITH A TEAM OF DEDICATED PROFESSIONALS, STUDENTS WILL LEARN MORE THAN WHAT CAN BE FOUND IN THEIR CLASSROOMS. AFTER SCHOOL IS WHAT WE DO.

Our programs are offered at no cost to students and provide a positive environment for them from the time school ends until 6:00pm every day school is in session. We also serve a nutritious snack every day after school to all students. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

We offer FREE snacks Monday through Friday, starting at 3:16 PM to 3:45 PM and again at 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the cafeteria. Our snacks are healthy and delicious and we also offer vegetarian options. Our snack program is state regulated so students are not allowed to take snacks home. We provide space in our cafeteria and office for them to eat.

Here at the XL Program, we offer students and parents, assistance in the college enrollment process. With our College and Career Ambassador and our student tutors, you can be sure that our students stay on the right path in their educational journey.

We offer free tutoring to any El Diamante student in any subject they are studying. Our tutors are highly proficient, very knowledgeable and are hand selected by administration to guarantee our students success. Tutoring services take place in the XL Office located in Computer lab 62.
