CAASPP TROUBLESHOOTING (updated on 4/26/18)
- If the secure browser shows up shrunken on a chromebook, on the upper left side of the screen, here is the fix. Plug in a usb mouse, hold the Control key and spin the mouse wheel to roll up or down. Each time you spin the middle wheel, you will increase the size of the logon screen.
- If a student runs into a blank white background when opening up the AirSecure browser, change chromebooks. If the next unit is also displaying the same white screen, please contact assessment at the number below.
- If the chromebook seems to 'power off' or shows a black screen randomly on a particular student, and you have tried a different chromebook, then the temporary solution is to have that student test on a Windows device. We have found that recently that we test those students on Windows based laptop/desktop running the Secure Browser and it seems to keep their session open.
