Summer Information
Visalia Unified School District provides students with summer opportunities to help advance students in all aspects of education. From credit recovery to self-selected courses, students can spend the summer continuously learning. Extracurriculars, expanded learning opportunities, and internships are available for students who are interested.
High School Summer School:
Locations: Redwood & Golden West
First Day of School: Tuesday, June 6th
School Day: 7:30AM-12:30PM
After School: XL - Pro Youth
Middle School (6th-8th Graders):
Locations: Green Acres
First Day of School: Tuesday, June 6th
School Day: 7:30AM-12:30PM
After School: Edge
Elementary School (K-5th):
Locations: Annie R. Mitchell, Mt. View, Cottonwood, Denton, Global Learning Center, Mineral King, Hurley, Elbow Creek, Royal Oaks, Crowley, Shannon Ranch, Riverway.
First Day of School: Monday, June 12th
After School: Most schools offer all-day and half-day HEART programs. Goshen offers only all-day HEART and no summer school. Please check with your school.
